Stalin Congratulations.. Great Shot... Indeed the prize winning one... and only a 14 mm lens on a full frame camera or on Film camera alone can give you the perspective.. Anyway good to see that the perspective issue has been cleared.. but that in a way only enhances the value of your prize winning effort..

Indeed very happy about the win, way to go Stalin wishes for you to keep winning :)

hai mr.lakshmanan.....this picture is taken from the side where there is a mosque and it is not taken from the front entrance.if you go there again, try taking a picture from the mosque entrance u will get the same shot but the exposure levels will be different.this can be obtained from 14 mm lens using fullframe camera.....why should site like foto flock give prize for a digitally manipulated photo.....please try to appreciate and not find faults and put someone down who has given fantastic frame which is unimaginable for the people who enjoy really good snaps like this.......

Since you already seem to know everything about exposure, I am not taking the extra effort to explain to you as to what is HDR about!
I hope this fully and fairly answers your question! If it still doesn't then the only way to find out is to travel to the same spot with a Canon 5D full frame camera and a 14mm perspective lens.

Dear Mr. Lakshman, It seems you have not read my reply properly. I have already stated that this is not a digitally altered image! (It means that two images have not been sandwiched to alter the distance and perspective. Am I clear, now?). If your doubt is still not cleared, I can show you the RAW images. Since you seem to know about photography, I am sure you do understand that a RAW image is like a digital negative and is accepted in international competitions. I don't have to take the pains of proving anything to you, still if it is a genuine doubt that you have, as a fellow photographer I would not mind taking the effort.Of course, It is a HDR but all the shots are taken without moving the camera position.

Lakshman what you say is wrong. I got 10-15 shots of the same Image in Raw Format no sandwich.

A brilliant image forseen and captured meticulously well which shows the Taj in its full glory.I am very glad that a 14mm lens was used to get this stunning perspective.Congrats on the award. I would love to see this as a big blow up.

Mr. Stalin.. I am not talking or asked about the exposure techniques.. its on perspective.. with the 14mm lens placing at the entrance one cannot get the TAJ as the size as in the picture.. there is a distance from the entrance and the mosque. it must be two seperate pictures (one is gate and another taj, sandwiched together).. pl give detail.. if i am wrong...

This Photo not digitally manipulated. I used 3(+2,0,-2) exposure (HDR) shot to get details inside the mosque. Used Canon 5D with Canon 14mm /f2.8 lens.
